Dr. Aglaia Kong Invited to Attend Shero Initiative’s 2nd Anniversary Conference
Recently, the Shero Initiative held its second anniversary conference in Shenzhen with the theme “Technology for Good, Moving Forward Together.” The conference, attended by industry leaders and experts like Dr. Aglaia Kong, offered a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. Dr. Kong, from LeapFive Technology, was invited to deliver the opening speech, witnessing the growth and development of the Shero Initiative.
Dr. Kong, an esteemed honorary advisor to the Shero Initiative and a prominent female leader in the technology and sustainability sectors, is a fervent advocate for the concept of technology for good. She shared, “From small sparks, immense energy can be ignited, propelling the positive evolution of technology. It’s a privilege to be part of the Shero Initiative, collaborating with numerous founders and over 300 passionate and talented colleagues. In just two years, we’ve accomplished significant milestones. Thanks to everyone’s dedication, our future shines brighter. I’m eager to sustain this momentum and welcome more partners to our cause.”
In June 2022, Dr. Kong attended a female entrepreneurs’ sharing session organized by PHBS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, a strategic partner of the Shero Initiative, where she delivered an insightful speech (watch the exciting video clip at the end of the article).
During her keynote address at the Shero Initiative’s second anniversary, Dr. Kong underscored the pressing issue of global warming and China’s role in achieving its “dual carbon” objectives, which refers to [brief explanation of ‘dual carbon’ objectives]. She stressed that green development is now a global consensus, urging active promotion of clean energy transformation. Dr. Kong delved into the profound implications of global warming on industries such as new energy, automobiles, energy storage, and special energy, foreseeing the pivotal role of AI technology in this industrial revolution. Despite the challenges of clean energy supply, energy management complexity, and carbon certification and trading, these also present significant opportunities for establishing an energy internet. Dr. Kong also highlighted the significance of AI computing infrastructure in the global energy structure, anticipating a substantial increase in its share. LeapFive Technology remains committed to technological innovation in this field, contributing to the realization of green development goals.
